Asus announced ROG Phone II, its second gaming smartphone. With a new 120Hz display and more features, the new phone will give you a more comfortable mobile gaming experience.
The ROG Phone II is the successor to original ROG Phone. The high-end gaming smartphone measures 6.73 x 3.05 x 0.38 inches and weighs 8.46 oz. As shown in the images, the ROG Phone II shows off a pretty cool appearance design to fit the gaming theme.
The hard-anodized, matte black metal band delivers a solid and slim form factor, while the sheets of Corning Gorilla Glass 6 sandwich the front and back of the phone for enhanced strength and elegance. Meanwhile, the Aura-powered RGB LED logo inlaid in the back glass shows many of the lighting effects.
Asus ROG Phone II is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus paired with Qualcomm Adreno 640 at up to 672MHz and comes equipped with 12GB LPDDR4X RAM, 128GB/512GB UFS 3.0 flash storage, so it’s powerful enough to smoothly run the most demanding mobile games. Its GameCool II heatsink system ensures it can handle those demanding games and apps at full speed for as long as your thumbs can keep up.
Furthermore, the gaming smartphone has a 6.59″ AMOLED display that features up to 120Hz refresh rate, 2340×1080 resolution, 240Hz touch sampling, 108% DCI-P3 color gamut and 10,000:1 contrast ratio in order to give every player high-quality game images with 1ms response time. And it supports HDR playback.
Moreover, using haptic AirTrigger technology on the edges, the gaming phone delivers a professional gaming control experience for those demanding gamers. The rear main camera has a Sony IMX586 sensor and an f/1.9 lens with 26mm equivalent focal length, and the second rear camera has a 13MP sensor and a 120-degree ultrawide angle lens with 11mm equivalent focal length.
In addition, other features also include 24MP front-facing camera, Bluetooth 5.0, dual front-facing speakers with DTS:X Ultra DSP, fingerprint scanner under the screen and 6000mAh battery.
