No doubt, many classic design elements from Game Boy still work on various gaming devices, but the following concept Nintendo flex handheld game console is supposed to bring the legend to the future.
YJ Yoon, an industrial designer from San Francisco came up with the concept handheld game console named Nintendo flex. As we can see from the images, the classic design language from Game Boy has been skillfully hidden in the futuristic body. With a slim and compact form factor, the Nintendo flex lets you enjoy various games wherever you go, and the linear pattern texture on the lower half side on the back provides you a comfortable and firm grip.
Furthermore, the handheld gaming device adopts a curved display for a more immersive mobile gaming experience with a wider field of view. The rounded D-pad and capsule-shaped buttons perfectly complement to the futuristic style. Moreover, its built-in speaker is arranged on the top of the device so that you will never worry about your hands blocking the sound during gaming. Unfortunately, the Nintendo flex is just an unavailable design concept, but you can use the Bluetooth gamepad to bring some nostalgic atmosphere into your gaming session.
