The Osmo Pocket is an innovative and advanced hybrid with a combination of action camera and handheld gimbal stabilizer. It measures 11.2 x 10.9 x 8.1 inches and weighs 4.2 ounces. As we can see from the images, it shows off a lightweight and ultra compact appearance design. The ergonomic contours and matte finished exterior let you comfortably hold it in your hand for video recording.
DJI Osmo Pocket looks a bit like a handheld smartphone gimbal, but as a handheld camera, the Osmo Pocket doesn’t have to hold a smartphone. With its 1/2.3-inch sensor, 80-degree FOV, and f/2.0 aperture, the camera is capable of recording 4K/60fps videos at 100 Mbps and 12 MP stills. Furthermore, the handheld camera features a mini 3-axis gimbal developed using a micro-scale manufacturing process. The mini mechanical stabilization platform and brushless motor let you always capture butter-smooth videos and deliver fine-tuned gimbal control accuracy.
Moreover, its integrated touchscreen and buttons provide a quick and single-handed user experience, and you can easily switch different modes including FPV, ActiveTrack, 3×3 Panorama, Motionlapse and NightShot. A integrated universal port is designed to expand the abilities of the handheld camera with custom accessories such as battery case, selfie stick, and more. Using included USB-C and Lightning adapter, it also connects with your iPhone so that you can unleash your creativity with DJI Mimo photo app.
In addition, its rechargeable battery offers up to 140 minutes of video recording between charges, and it supports up to 256GB microSD card. Using an optional waterproof case, you can enjoy it at depth of up to 60 meters for smooth underwater shots.
